September 2023 Community Outreach by IWC Bombay Queen's Tiara


  • Honouring Educators: BKM School Teacher's Day Celebration - (Project 13):  IWC Bombay Queen's Tiara commenced September with a heartfelt celebration at BKM School in Babulnath, Mumbai, on September 5th, honouring 25 educators. The event included certificate distribution and recognition of the best teacher, totaling INR 7,750 in expenses.


  • Empowering Girls: Menstrual Health Awareness Talk- (Project 14): On September 15th, the club organized a crucial talk on menstrual health for 100 eleventh-grade girls at Maniben Nanavati Women's College in Juhu, Mumbai, investing INR 10,000 to promote women's health and hygiene. Project was inaugurated by District Chairman Mrs Pallavi Choksi. The collaboration was between Aditya Birla Education Trust and our club for the Centurion term. Refreshments were donated by our club member Gopika


  • Community Gathering: Snack Distribution and Musical Evening- (Project 15 & 16):  A delightful evening of snacks and music orchestra was arranged on September 16th at JJ Dharamshala in Byculla, by Committee member Bijal. Benefiting 60 individuals and costing INR 4,000 as service and commitment to the senior citizens. Alongside another donation was made by the club of oxy meter and oxy air to the centre through a private donor benefiting the members and volunteers at JJ Dharamshala,Mumbai.


  • Medical Aid Distribution: Support for Local Organizations- (Project 17):  On the same day, medical aid supplies were provided and donated to 60 individuals at Conwest Jain Hospital in Girgaum, oxy meter and oxy breathe was donated worth INR 100,000, emphasizing the club's commitment to healthcare accessibility.


  • Nutritious Snack Distribution: Supporting Child Nutrition- (Project 18):  September 28th witnessed the distribution of nutritious snacks to 40 children at Salaam Balak in Marine Lines, Mumbai, with an investment of INR 2,000 to promote child welfare by our club President Kavita Waghani.


  • Mental Health Awareness Campaign - (Project 19): Partnering with IWC Thane Midtown and IWC Thane Aces, the club organized a mental health awareness project on September 27th at SVPT Saraswati Vidyalaya in Thane, Mumbai, reaching 200 individuals worth INR 15,000 through CSR collaboration with Aditya Birla Education Trust.


  • Animal Welfare: Monthly Feeding Project- (Project 20):  The month concluded with the ongoing commitment to animal welfare on September 30th, feeding 500 cows at Shree Sanjeevni Gau Seva Samiti in Bhiwandi, with a modest budget of INR 1,000, ensuring the well-being of our four-legged friends donation made by our club President Kavita Waghani.
