MARCH 2024: Empowering Communities Through Compassionate Initiatives

Monthly Animal Welfare Feeding Project (Project No. 59) Club President Kavita Waghani, continued their steadfast commitment to animal welfare. On March 3rd, she sponsored a monthly feeding project, allocating INR 1,000 to provide fodder to 500 cows at Shree Sanjeevni Sau Seva Samiti in Mumbai. This ongoing initiative ensures the sustained health and well-being of the community's animals, addressing their nutritional needs with compassion and dedication.

Shed Breast Cancer Awareness Talk and Medical Support (Project No. 60) Shed Kalina in Mumbai became the venue for a transformative event on March 16th, 2024, as IWC Bombay Queens Tiara hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness Talk. With a budget of INR 20,000, the club educated 200 women and girls on breast cancer prevention and early detection by our club Member Dr Sonali. Additionally, literacy resources were provided, empowering women to proactively manage their health. This initiative underscores the club's commitment to promoting women's health and well-being.

Nutrition Snack Distribution for Senior Citizens (Project No. 61) On March 27th, 2024, Club President Kavita Waghani extended support to senior citizens by sponcering snack distribution event at JJ Dharamshala in Byculla, Mumbai. With a budget of INR 2,000, the club distributed nutrition snacks to 60 senior citizens, addressing their immediate nutritional needs and promoting their overall well-being. This initiative exemplifies the dedication to enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable members of the community.
